Your chiropractor is a friend, E.G, age 89 My name is Rysa and my headaches are gone. My shoulders are falling into their proper place, as are my hips. My vision is better, I can hear clearly and my jaw in not as tight as before. There is no chronic lower back pain or knee pain and I still have one more year of adjustments to go to feel even better. R. I was suffering from spondylolisthesis. It is a severe condition which interferes with the nerve supply in the leg. It was to the point where I could not stand or walk for any period of time without numbness, and I could not support my weight due to the fact that my leg muscles were deteriorating. The pain traveled the entire length of my leg. After two years of suffering with leg pain, I actually collapsed at work and was sent home and remained there for 9 months. My previous treatments were by a medical doctor who recommended exercises before bed. At first they helped but the numbness continued and from there I was sent for physiotherapy. I was on four different pain killers which only seemed to mask the symptoms, they did not provide any lasting relief and they left my head feeling cloudy. Next, I was sent to a physiotherapist and to a hospital surgeon. I was faced with the choice of either surgery or chiropractic. I had heard good things about chiropractic and was optimistic that it could help although I had never used it before. When I first arrived in the office, I noticed how busy it was. Dr. Bourgaize seemed very honest, straight forward and upfront. He told me he would try to help me and I in return would have to commit to a schedule of twelve weeks. I feel great. I have returned to work and to the activities that I enjoyed before. I would recommend chiropractic to anyone who is willing to help their well being. I am surprised that chiropractic doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. Thank you, Dr. Bourgaize. R.L. I’ve known about chiropractic for years through reading and the experiences of my friends. I first came to the clinic because of severe chronic pain in my neck, back and head. I thought to try chiropractic because nothing else seemed to be working. I’ve experienced some relief in my back and in my ease of movement. I still have considerable discomfort, pain and limitation in my neck but I do get occasional temporary relief. Overall, I feel better. The staff is always friendly, sympathetic and helpful. Dr. Bourgaize is professional and friendly all at once, a rare combination! Overall, I enjoy my visits at the clinic and would certainly recommend it to all who require this type of care. D.R. The day I came to Dr. Bourgaize I could barely walk or bend down. I had a stiff neck and stiff back. Through Dr. Bourgaize and his clinic, I have learned more about well being and have not felt this good in years. I am also more in tune with my health and why discomforts happen. He always takes the necessary time to explain it to me. My two sons and I have been seeing Dr. Bourgaize for two years. I am very happy with the care and rapport that I have with him. My son sleeps through his adjustments many times. Our whole family is very appreciative of Dr. Bourgaize and what he does for us. Thank you, Dr. Bourgaize. H.M. Working at the computer most of day has taken a toll on me. Poor sitting posture, stressful job and the inability to relax had contributed in severe headaches and increased fatique. I was unsatisfied with using medication to relieve the problem – I felt I was never getting to the root of the cause. Chiropractic enlightened me in more ways than I expected. After a thorough examination of my health, discussing my work habits and showing me my x-rays, I understood I had problems from my work conditions but also past problems from a car accident. My past wipe lash was never properly treated and healed and as a result, I have suffered years of neck bone degeneration and thus structural problems. I thought I only had recent problems. I never thought past problems would multiply as much as they did. After an assigned schedule of chiropractic treatments, I was feeling much better. My headaches are now infrequent and I have a greater range of movement in my neck. Not only have the adjustments been helping, but also the advice for better working habits, such as demonstrating proper posture and stretches at work. Why did I wait so long for the proper health care? N.S. |
