Dr. Ward Bourgaize
Biography
Dr. Bourgaize began his pre-chiropractic education at the University of Waterloo where he graduated from the Human Kinetic’s program with Honours. He then attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario to obtain his Doctor of Chiropractic. During his four years at CMCC, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, x-ray diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques, orthotic and biomechanical assessment and patient care. After graduating, Dr. Bourgaize moved to the Ottawa area to establish his practice. He has now been in practice for 20 years.
Dr. Bourgaize is married to Eleanor and they have three children, Joshua, Dawtson and Kayleigh. The whole family receives regular chiropractic care which contributes to their good health. Dr. Bourgaize loves spending time with his family. They actively enjoy skiing and hockey in the winter, playing soccer and spending time at the cottage in the summer.

Dr. Robinson
Biography
Dr. Robinson grew up in Ottawa and graduated with his O.A.C. honors from J.S. Woodsworth Secondary School. Dr. Robinson travelled to St. Louis Missouri to finish his Bachelors of Science in Human Biology with Honors at Logan University. He then moved on to complete his postgraduate education at Logan College of Chiropractic, receiving his Doctorate of Chiropractic in April of 2008. Dr. Robinson was recognized for making the Deans list (average of 93% or higher) in the final two semesters of his doctorate degree, and also received a certificate of appreciation for his role as Group Leader in the outpatient clinic.
Dr. Robinson studied many different chiropractic techniques while in school. He studied these techniques both through Logan College of Chiropractic and in post graduate seminars offered abroad.

Melanie Cowger RMT
Biography
After completing an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Western Ontario, Melanie began her massage therapy training at the D’Arcy Lane Institute in London, Ontario in 2001. Upon graduation, she obtained her Certificate of Registration from the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in 2002 and began her practice in a private clinic as well as at the Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic at the University of Western Ontario.
Melanie joined the London Massage Therapy Centre in 2004, where she maintained a busy practice for the next three years. In 2005 she accepted a teaching position at the D’Arcy Lane Institute, and began teaching Anatomy and Physiology classes in the Massage Therapy program.
Melanie left Canada in 2007 with her husband as he pursued a medical degree. Their travels took them to the United Kingdom, Grenada and New York City. During that time Melanie had the opportunity to provide massage therapy to medical students and held study sessions for the students in the Basic Sciences.
Melanie and her family have recently moved to Ottawa, and she is thrilled to join the team at Fisher Heights Chiropractic Clinic.
